Just back from a fantastic trip in the north of Italy.  Spent the first day in Venice, had a look at the Gondola’s, not sure if they would go very well on the Atlantic though.   Thought I might get some rowing done but I don’t think you would fit a pair of oars down the narrow canals. [caption id=“” align=“aligncenter” width=“296” caption=“Too tight for oars down here!”]Too tight for oars down here![/caption] Next day we spent a few hours wandering the streets of Verona, checked out the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony (with about 200 others tourists).  Another amazing city with history and culture around every corner. Then it was back to the scene of the crime, Riva Del Garda, where 12 months to the day I married my lovely wife, Andree.  A nice anniversary dinner and a few drinks to celebrate then early to bed as we were up early for a mountain bike trip.  Well I had to get some training in and a 3 hour mountain bike ride was just the trick.  What a great way to see the countryside and enjoy the spectacular views.   The climbs were a great workout and the descents were challenging but good fun. These are the stories I bring to keynotes and coaching sessions.
